NEIGHBOURHOOD WARD BLOCK PARTIES

The Town of Riverview Parks and Recreation Department would like to extend to the residents of Riverview an invitation to our summer Neighbourhood Ward Block Parties.  The Block Parties will take place every second Thursday starting at 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm (see below).  So, come meet your neighbours and enjoy the Free BBQ and festivities!

Ward 2 - July 8th - Fundy Chocolate River Station Boardwalk Bash
Ward 3 - July 22nd - Lions Park Pool Party (Postponed until Tuesday, July 27th - due to rain)
Ward 4 - August 5th - Goldsboro Park Sporting Spectacular
Ward 1 - August 19th - Coverdale Centre Splash Party

Please note, rain date for each party will take place the following Tuesday evening.
 

Canvassing from representatives of APX Alarm comapny

We would like to advise residents of the Town of Riverview that representatives from the APX Alarm company will be canvassing in the Township in order to sell, service and monitor and install low voltage residential security systems within the Town of Riverview.  Representatives will be selling door to door to residences and the hours of operation will be between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm.  Please note that although APX Alarm has been given approval to sell security systems door to door this should not be construed as approval from the Town of Riverview for their product.  Residents are reminded they should do their own research and due diligence before purchasing this or any product.

Town of Riverview is Currently Developing its Strategic Plan

In order to set the direction for the Town over the next 5 years, Town Council has initiated a strategic planning process that will define Riverview's goals and priorities, and the actions we need to take to get there.  Over the coming months, Council will be seeking your input on what you want from your Town and your vision of Riverview's future.  Please check our website often for opportunities to share your ideas, as well we would like to ask for your patience and cooperation in the coming weeks, if you happen to be reached by telephone, to participate in a brief survey that will further enable us to consider your valuable input.
