Water & Sewer

The Town of Riverview provides water, sewer and sewerage treatment services for its residential and commercial properties. These services are paid for by property owners through a quarterly billing process.

Commercial, industrial and multi-residential properties receive metered billing based on volume of usage. See current rates for residential properties.

The Town purchases its water supply from the Turtle Creek Reservoir which is owned and operated by the City of Moncton. Sanitary waste water is piped to TransAqua in Riverview for treatment prior to its release into the Petitcodiac River. A portion of customers' annual water and sewer bill covers the cost of wastewater treatment.

Residential property owners pay a flat rate for water and sewer service totalling $845 per year or $211.25 per quarter.

Commercial property owners pay a metered rate for water and sewer service at $2.97 per cubic meter.

Water and sewer billings are issued quarterly at the beginning of the month payment is due. Payment must be made on the following dates to avoid incurring interest: Feb. 28, May 31, Aug. 31 and Nov. 30.
