New Brunswick Parks & Trails Day

What is Parks & Trails Day?

From Campbellton to Grand Manan, Woodstock to Shediac, and all points in between, more than 50 events will be held on Saturday, June 4 and neighbouring dates.

This province-wide event is an opportunity to promote healthy, active living in your community while celebrating the many incredible outdoor spaces in our province.

Organized by a coalition of New Brunswick's health and wellness organizations, the day celebrates the province's parks, trails, waterways and green spaces for International Trails Day and the national "June is Recreation and Parks Month" campaign.

GO WILD- An evening for women who are curious about hiking
June 2, 7 p.m.

Celebrate NB Parks & Trails Day with us at The Cocoa Room, located at 391 Coverdale Road, Riverview or km 18 on the Riverfront Trail.

Can I hike? Where can I hike? Who do I go with? What should I bring with me? Should I bring the kids? What about the dog? What are the best trails in the Greater Moncton Area? Where are some hidden gems in New Brunswick?

All of these questions and more will be answered in a fun gathering of women hikers (or soon to be hikers!). There will be a short presentation on the basics, followed by an open panel discussion with local lady hikers ranging in outdoor hiking experience.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
This is a licensed event, proudly sponsored by The Cocoa Room.

Suggested donations of $5 at the door, with all proceeds benefiting the Fundy Hiking Trail Association (volunteers of the Dobson Trail, Fundy Footpath, Catamount Trail).
