Youth

There are a variety of youth programs currently offered through Riverview Parks, Recreation and Community Relations. They include programs which follow the school calendar, summer programs, as well as year-round opportunities.


Fall 2017 Registration
Saturday, September 9
Online Registration opens at 10 a.m.
In person registration available at the Parks and Recreation office from 10 a.m. to noon

The following organizations will be holding in person registration at the Fall Registration Fair at the Riverview Community Hall from 10 a.m. to noon.:
- AKA Dance
- Girl Guides of Canada
- Riverview Skating Club
- Riverview Minor Hockey
- Riverview Minor Basketball
- Riverview Ringette
- Scouts Canada - New Brunswick Council
- Codiac Vikings Swim Club


For Gamma Girls, this program is for girls in Grade 6, 7, and 8 over the school year.  registration for this program begins in September. 

For Active Teen Trips, look for our co-ed weekly activities offered during the summer season

For Skateboarding check out the indoor skatepark and youth centre drop in hours and rates. We offer year-round opportunities with both on-site and off-site activities. If you are interested in learning how to skateboard, we offer beginners camps in the summer and during school breaks.

For Swimming check out our year round "Swim Kids" programs and public swim times located under aquatics.

For Skating check out our fall/winter/spring public skates located under Byron Dobson Arena.

For Organized Community Sports and other Community Recreational Programs, please visit our community resources page. The Town of Riverview also partners with the Riverview Boys and Girls Club to act as a resource for local youth and provide information on opportunities in our community.
