Council held a moment of silence to recognize the passing of former Councillor Claude Curwin on April 14, 2019.

Presentations and Delegations

  • None presented

Tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFP)

  • Tender 19-21 to Aero-Feu for the supply, delivery and service of MSA self-contained breathing apparatus in the amount of $322,133.40.
  • Tender 19-33A to Avondale Construction Ltd. for the Lions Park and Pool improvements Phase 1 in the amount of $625,000.
  • RFP 19-33B to Acadian Construction for the Riverview Lions Community Park Pool improvements in the amount of $660,000.
  • Tender 19-63 to Foulem Construction Ltd. for Weir Drive reconstruction in the amount of $1,015,462.50.

Recommendations 

  • Committee of the Whole recommends to proceed with lane marking changes on Hillsborough Road (Hillview Ave to Old Coach Road) during the scheduled resurfacing of that road in Summer 2019.
  • Committee of the Whole recommends to authorize proceeding with the proposed waste management study in 2019.
  • Committee of the Whole recommends to approve a new policy for preventing workplace violence.
