Adoption of the Minutes 

First reading of by-laws to be enacted at the next Regular Council Meeting

  • By-Law 300-71, A By-Law Relating to the Establishment of a Planning Advisory Committee for the Town of Riverview.
  • By-Law 100-15-08 - A By-Law Relating to the Payment of Annual Salaries to the Mayor and Councillors of the Town of Riverview.

Second and final reading of by-laws enacted by Council

  • By-Law 300-33-1 - A By-Law Relating to the Town of Riverview Municipal Plan By-Law 300-33.
  • By-Law 300-7-2 - A By-Law to Amend the Town of Riverview Zoning By-Law 300-7.
  • By-Law 700-8 - A By-Law Requiring Street Trees for New Main Building Developments within the Town of Riverview.

Tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFP)

Exercise purchasing option through Tender 19-85 to purchase a second vehicle in amount of $38,850.00 plus HST to Lounsbury Automotive Ltd. for one new 1 Ton Regular Cab (Gas) 4WD Truck, Chassis and Cab.

Exercise purchasing option through Tender 19-42 to purchase a second vehicle in amount of $32,089.65 plus HST to Green Diamond Equipment Ltd. for a Ventrac Tractor.

Tender 20-82 in amount of $34,498.00 plus HST to Lounsbury Automotive Ltd. for one new ½ ton Extended Cab 4x4 truck. 

Tender 20-83 in amount of $86,864.00 plus HST to Summerside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for two new ½ Ton 4x4 crew cab trucks.

Proposal 19-08 in amount of $181,560.00 plus HST to Maid-Exec Ltd for a two-year contract for Janitorial Services.

Proposal 20-80 in amount of $41,976.72 including taxes to Saunders Equipment Ltd. for the supply and delivery of an Asphalt Hot Box.

Other Business

Council approved a motion to submit to the Municipal Capital Borrowing Board an application for authorization to borrow for capital expense.

Council approved a motion to appoint Gabriel Boudreau, Mélanie Chiasson, Denis Frenette, Jason Leblanc, Adrien Robichaud, Josée Vautour of the Southeast Regional Service Commission as Building Inspectors for the Town of Riverview, giving authority to those named above to issue orders and to lay information for offences under and pursuant to Section 134 of the Community Planning Act.

Council authorized the sale of land on Runneymeade Road for $164,560 as per the Purchase and Sale Agreement with MoeMar Homes, and authorize the Mayor and Town Clerk to sign all documents and agreements to formalize the terms of this agreement.
