Presentations and Delegations

• George Murray presented the Council Compensation Review Committee Report.

Tenders and Requests for Proposals

• None presented

Recommendations 

• Committee of the Whole recommends that all recommendations contained in the November 2019 report submitted by the Council Compensation Committee be approved and further that staff undertake the necessary by-law amendment.

Salary increases will be as follows: a $5,639 increase in Mayor’s salary to $38,122, a $2,575 in Deputy Mayor’s salary to $19,544, and a $1,056 increase in Council’s salary to $16,025. These increases are to become effective following the swearing-in ceremony of the new Council in May 2020.
