Other Business

Council made a motion to accept the recommendations presented in the Report on Rodent Control and direct staff to carry out these recommendations starting in 2021.

Council made a motion to accept the business plan for the Riverview Recreation Complex as presented by BNP Philanthropic at the Committee of the Whole meeting of October 26, 2020.

Council made a motion to increase Codiac Transpo services in Riverview to 70% of its original services plan for the remainder of 2020, implementing this service change on November 15, 2020.  

Council made a motion to approve the extension of the current terms and budget related to the Service Level Agreement with 3+ for 2021 based on defined areas of focus, reporting specifics to each municipality, municipal ex-officio representation on the Board and that recommendations for a future Service Level Agreement beyond 2021 are considered by June 30, 2021 and that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to sign required documents.

Council made a motion to award the Request for Quotation - #20-05, Removal of Debris to Charles Smith Construction Ltd. in the amount not to exceed $6,550.00 plus applicable taxes.

Council made a motion that the Mayor be appointed as a Town of Riverview representative to the Codiac Regional Policing Authority Board, effective immediately.

Council made a motion that the Greater Moncton Pest Control Commission, being a committee of Council, be dissolved as of December 31, 2020, and that the money remaining in The Greater Moncton Pest Control Commission’s possession and accounts, and any other assets remaining in the possession of the Greater Moncton Pest Control Commission, be transferred to the Southeast Regional Service Commission as of December 31, 2020.
