Councillor-at-Large Andrew J. LeBlanc elected Deputy Mayor
RIVERVIEW (N.B.) – Council has elected Councillor-at-Large Andrew J. LeBlanc Deputy Mayor following a motion at the June 8, 2020 Regular Council Meeting.
The deputy mayor is called upon to represent the mayor at public events when she cannot attend and chair council meetings in the absence of the mayor. Council elects a new deputy mayor every year.
Mayor Ann Seamans thanks outgoing Deputy Mayor John Coughlan for his service over the last year.
Deputy Mayor LeBlanc will serve in this role until May 2021.
