Fire Department to conduct training on Petitcodiac River

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) – The Town of Riverview wishes to advise residents that the Fire Department will be conducting training exercises on the Petitcodiac River during the next two weeks.

The training involves the department’s new 4.5 metre rescue boat. The boat is a rigid inflatable boat with an aluminum hull, constructed by Gala Boats, and supplied by New Star Marine in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. It weighs less than 400kg, which is half the weight of the 20-year-old Zodiac model it is replacing.
