Holiday waste collection and Christmas tree pick-up

RIVERVIEW (N.B.)  The Town of Riverview would like to advise residents of changes to the waste collection schedule over the Christmas and New Year Holidays. They are as follows:

• Collection on Wednesday, Dec. 25 moves to Saturday, Dec. 28
• Collection on Wednesday, Jan. 1 moves to Saturday, Jan. 4

To keep both workers and residents safe, please do not place garbage bags on top of snow banks. Crews are not permitted to climb snowbanks to collect items. Instead, place waste at the end of the driveway about a metre from the road, where they will be visible to crews.
 

Christmas tree pick-up

When the holidays are over, the Town of Riverview will offer a free Christmas tree pick-up. Place your natural Christmas trees at your curb on your regular pick-up day during the week of January 6, 2020. Please ensure that all decorations, tinsel and lights are removed from the tree. Due to demand, your tree may be collected a few days after regular collection.
