Leading From Home

Hey Riverview Youth :)  We hope everyone's been doing well during these times.

It can be hard growing up these days! Especially with the uncertainty revolving around your schooling, athletic teams and all of the programs you enjoy throughout the year. Don't panic though! I'm sure you've noticed most of the things you enjoy doing have been altered to accomodate the circumstances regarding the COVID-19 situation. 

The Town of Riverview have been hard at work to deliver youth a valuable and engaging opportunity in which they can participate mosty from their own homes!

Leading from Home - A Virtual Leadership Program

What is it?

Leading from Home is a 8 week long leadership program for Riverview youth ages 11 to 17 who wish to make a difference in their community while learning how to become the best leader they can be!

When does it start?

The Leading from Home program will begin on June 29th and will run unti August 21st. Registration opens June 13th, and will remain open until the halfway point of the program on July 26th.

What's in it for me?

Over the course of the summer, if program participants complete five acts of volunteering, as well as participate in five webinars, they will receive an official certificate of completion from the Town of Riverview! Furthermore, participants who demonstrate admirable leadership qualities will have the chance to win weekly prizes!
