Municipal Financial Aid - COVID-19

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) – During these unprecedented times The Town of Riverview understands the financial difficulties faced by many. On Tuesday night, Riverview Town Council approved measures effective immediately to assist those in need during this period of uncertainly. They are:

• Those who are unable to make regular quarterly payment(s) for water and sewer bills or monthly rental payments for Town owned facilities due to COVID-19 should contact Town Hall at 387-2020. Staff will be pleased to assist you in making arrangements to defer payment(s) until such time as the situation is resolved.
• There will be no disconnections of water and sewer service during this period.
• There will be no fees levied by the Town for NSF cheques during this period. Please note that your financial institution may still charge fees in connection with your bank services.

The Town is closely monitoring the situation and will revisit these relief measures on July 31. An update will be provided shortly after regarding the continuation of the above measures.
