Oh deer! Look out for wildlife on the move this spring

We're lucky to live (and play!) alongside wildlife in Riverview. 

At this time of year, deer and their young fawns are on the move. While foraging for food, they may wander across roadways and into high-traffic areas of the town. Motorists should be especially watchful at peak movement hours for deer in the early morning and at dusk. Be alert and keep in mind that seeing one deer usually means there are more nearby.

Finally, for their safety and ours - do not feed wildlife. Natural Resources experts agree it often does harm more than good to the health of a wild animal and leads to a higher risk of animal/vehicle collisions. Learn more on the Government of New Brunswick's website.
