Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Centre to reopen

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) – The Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Centre is scheduled to reopen to the public on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.

A phased approach will be used, beginning with lane swimming. Pre-booking will be required as spaces are limited to six people in the pool at one time with one person per lane.

Visit townofriverview.ca/swim for current schedules and to make a reservation. Bookings can also be made over the phone at 506-387-2040.

The following protocols will be in place to ensure the health and safety of the public and Town staff:

  • Screening upon entering the building and maintaining safe physical distances at all times (2m).
  • Although face masks are not mandatory, visitors are encouraged to use them.
  • You should not visit the pool if you feel unwell, have shown symptoms of COVID-19, or have travelled outside the province in the last 14 days.
  • Directional arrows will assist you with physical distancing and getting you around the facility.

The public are encouraged to arrive ready to swim to limit your time in the facility. If required, a gender-neutral locker room will be assigned for your use during your visit. To ensure social distancing, some bathrooms and showers will be closed.
