Pumpkin Personalities offers ‘spooktacular’ visitor experience

The Town of Riverview will host its annual Pumpkin Personalities event Monday, October 22 until Sunday, October 28, at various locations around town. Visitors and residents are invited to embark on a self-guided tour in search of customized pumpkin people that will tell the story of Riverview’s local business community.

“Pumpkin Personalities is a great way for our businesses to attract new and returning customers to their storefronts, and to use creativity as a marketing tool,” says Tahlia Ferlatte, Economic Development Officer at the Town of Riverview and event organizer. Area schools and residents are also invited to join the fun as the town is transformed into a pumpkin patch full of ‘spooktacular’ structures.

Each business will be provided with a complimentary starter-kit that includes a pumpkin and hay bale purchased from a local farm.

Judging will take place on Saturday, October 27, with the top three displays will be announced the following Monday on the Town’s social channels.
