Riverview gets new public transit service route
The Town of Riverview will have an additional service with Codiac Transpo, with changes effective January 12, 2020.
83 Sussex: The Town of Riverview is pleased to commence a new service route. This permits increased service frequency improvements. With this addition, the #81 Riverview route area will now offer 30 minute service frequency during peak commuting hours. The new route is #83 Sussex and it will service the same bus stops as #81 Riverview. It will operate as a pilot project in service Monday to Friday, with trips between 7:00 and 10:00, and 16:00 to 19:00. The route is: Avenir Centre, Main, Highfield, Gordon, Weldon, Main, Vaughan Harvey, Gunningsville Bridge, Coverdale, Riverview Place, Coverdale, Pine Glen, Pinewood, Findlay, Whitepine, Henderson, Lawson, Irving, Frost, Callowhill, Tobias, Callaghan, Trites, Whitepine, Buckingham, Sussex, Trites, Waterfall, Wilson, Coverdale, Riverview Place, Coverdale, Crystal Dr., Coverdale, Gunningsville Bridge, Main, Avenir Centre.
81 Riverview: This bus will travel to and from Riverview on the Gunningsville Bridge, Monday to Sunday. This enables increased service coverage to downtown Riverview. All trips will follow this new route: Avenir Centre, Main, Highfield, Gordon, Weldon, Main, Vaughan Harvey, Gunningsville Bridge, Coverdale, Riverview Place, Coverdale, Pine Glen, Pinewood, Findlay, Whitepine, Henderson, Lawson, Irving, Frost, Callowhill, Tobias, Callaghan, Trites, Whitepine, Buckingham, Sussex, Trites, Waterfall, Wilson, Coverdale, Riverview Place, Coverdale, Crystal Dr., Coverdale, Gunningsville Bridge, Main, Avenir Centre. Please refer to the new #83 Sussex route for additional trips. Bus #81 Riverview will no longer travel on West Main. Please refer to #68 Salisbury and #60 Bessborough routes for additional trips.
82 Riverview Place: The existing #81 Riverview cross town trips offering combined service to East Riverview at 9:30, 13:30 and 19:30 Monday to Saturday have been re-named #82 Riverview Place. This is to aid customers to identify which bus to board to go to these destinations.
