Water Conservation restrictions lifted

[RIVERVIEW, NB] - With the rain this past week, we are happy to report that the voluntary water conservation restrictions across the tri-communities of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview have now been lifted.

We would like to thank the public for their efforts in maintaining water levels to reduce the risk of a bloom of Blue-Green Algae. While we continue to monitor the water temperatures and levels, we believe that the risk of an algae bloom in the reservoirs has now passed.

While the water conservation practices (i.e. water lawns on odd and even days, 2 hours max, etc) set out in the Town’s Water and Sewage By-Law run from May 1-September 30 and will end shortly, we continue to encourage residents to observe water conservation practices as much as possible year-round.
