Winter Storm, Feb. 13 - Update on Municipal Services

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) The Town of Riverview is advising residents of the following updates to municipal services as a result of the current winter storm.

Snow Clearing

Crews are working to clear snow that has accumulated on streets and sidewalks by priority in the Town of Riverview’s snow plan.

Travel should be avoided if possible as blowing snow this afternoon will reduce visibility. If you must drive, lower your speed and maintain a safe distance between vehicles. Pedestrians are encouraged to wear bright visible clothing.

Please secure off-street parking today as vehicles can be ticketed and towed under the Traffic By-Law 700-10-3, at any time, if obstructing snow removal.
Codiac Transpo

Please follow @CodiacTranspo on Facebook for all service updates.

Waste Collection

Wednesday’s waste collection proceeded as usual today. If your bags were missed, please remove them from the curb until next week. For alerts about cancellations, please subscribe to the Town’s email list and select ‘Waste and Recycling Notices.’

Community Programs

All Town of Riverview recreation programs are cancelled.

Municipal offices

Administrative offices will close at noon and non-essential services will be suspended for the remainder of the day.
