Work gets underway on phase one of Bridgedale Boulevard project

Phase one of the Bridgedale Boulevard project is underway to construct 1.6 kilometres of roadway linking Gunningsville Boulevard to Runneymeade Road. Construction and town crews have been busy as you can see!

The Trail diversion on Gunningsville rerouting was completed and has now re-opened, asphalt placement will take place later in June. Work has also been done to begin the installation of a watermain and storm sewer.

The construction of Bridgedale Boulevard is an important project for the Town of Riverview this year as we prepare for the planned closure of the Causeway in 2021. The project also includes roundabout connections to Gunningsville Boulevard and Runneymeade Road.
