When Tyson Rogers set out to open an outdoor equipment shop, he could never have imagined that loyal customers would help it become one of the largest Stihl, Echo, and Toro dealers in Atlantic Canada.
“I started from scratch with little to no business experience and the help of several friends and family members," he explained. “As a licensed automotive technician, I always wanted to have something of my own. When the opportunity arose – I jumped on it! Thanks to our wonderful customers, I've realized my dream of owning my own shop and experienced success over the past 8 years and counting.”
To Tyson, community means coming together through good times and tough ones.
“Most business owners will tell you that it’s not an easy life, and no one can do it alone,” he said. “I’m forever grateful for my team - I couldn’t do it without them. The same goes for my kids and wife of 15 years; they allow me to work late hours and sacrifice time to grow this for our future.”
