Sanford Street Rezoning

  • Riverview Town Council moved forward in the process to consider the rezoning of property located on Sanford Street bearing PID # 05117155 from R1 to R2.Council is considering the adoption of amending By-law 300-7-4 in order to rezone the property to permit the development of a semi-detached dwelling and referred the By-law to the Planning Advisory Committee. A public hearing to consider objections to the proposed by-law is scheduled for Monday, March 22, 2021, at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers

Proposed Zoning Amendment - Backyard Chickens

  • Riverview Town Council voted to postpone the backyard chicken zoning amendment proposed to the Zoning By-law and include urban agriculture/food security as part of the upcoming overall Municipal Plan review.

Approval of Terms of Reference - Riverview Advisory Committee on Disabilities

  • Riverview Town Council approved the updated Terms of Reference for the Advisory Committee on Disabilities as outlined at Committee of the Whole Meeting of January 25, 2021.

NEW BUSINESS

a. Award of Tender 21-40

Riverview Town Council awarded Tender 21-40 for the Supply & Delivery of One New Propane Ice Resurfacer be awarded to Monarch Enterprises Limited in the amount of $128,600.00 plus HST.

b. Award of Tender 21-68A

Riverview Town Council awarded Tender 21-68A for the Supply and Delivery of One (1) New 2021 Single Axle Cab Chassis to Universal Truck and Trailer in the amount of $130,250.00 plus HST.

c. Tender 21-83

Riverview Town Council awarded Tender 21-83 for a Trailer Mounted Valve Exerciser to Saunders Equipment Ltd. in the amount of $117,205.00 plus HST.

d. Award of Tender 21-85

Riverview Town Council awarded Tender 21-85 for the Sanitary Trunk Sewer Replacement to L.C.L. Excavation (2006) Inc. in the amount of $298,310.89 plus HST.

e. Resolution in support of 2021 Census

Riverview Town Council passed a motion supporting the 2021 Census, and encouraging all residents to complete their census questionnaire online at www.census.gc.ca.
