First reading of by-laws to be enacted at the next Regular Council Meeting

  • None presented

Second and final reading of by-laws enacted by Council

  • By-Law-100-15-09, a By-Law in Amendment to By-Law 100-15-08 relating to the Payment of Annual Salaries to the Mayor and Councillors of the Town of Riverview.

Tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFP)

  • Tender 20-88, Route 112 - Coverdale Road Culvert Replacement awarded to Dexter Construction Company Limited in the amount of $331,218.40 (including HST) and that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to sign all related documentation.

Other Business

Council made a motion to direct staff to investigate and begin the process for a Zoning By-law amendment that would allow backyard chickens in the Town of Riverview.

Council made a motion to accept the 2020 Strategic Plan Mid-Year Status Report for information.

Council made a motion to accept and support the recommendation of the Engineering Department, as per the Town of Riverview’s Subdivision Development Procedures, Guidelines and Standards, to approve the cost sharing agreement with Moemar Homes Inc. for the required oversize piping as per the proposed amount of $30,000.00 plus HST and that the particulars for the cost sharing be included as part of the Subdivision Agreement for this development.
