RE:  PIDs 00649137 and 05046131 from R1 to R3

That the Committee of the Whole recommend to Riverview Town Council to take the necessary steps to proceed with the rezoning process for property located at 180 Hillsborough Road (PIDs 00649137 and 05046131 from R1 to R3.

c.         Kirk Brewer - Proposed  Zoning Application - a portion of Henderson Subdivision - Redesignation and Rezoning

That the Committee of the Whole recommend to Riverview Town Council to take the necessary steps to proceed with the process for considering a re-designation of a portion of PID 01042902 from CU to RES, and rezoning from PRI to R1 the in connection with the property located on Henderson Avenue.

That the Committee of the Whole recommend to the Town of Riverview to contribute $10,000 for a Coordinator for the You Turns Program, a partnership between the School District and the United Way.

b.         Summer Hours

That the Committee of the Whole recommend to Riverview Town Council to employ summer hours by eliminating the Committee of the Whole meeting held the second meeting of the month for July and August and that the scheduled time for the Regular Council meeting for July and August begin at 4 p.m.

Special Council Meeting (immediately following) – June 29, 2021

DESIGNATED HIGHWAY PRIORITIES

Seconded by: Councillor R. Hayward

That Riverview Town Council approve the priority list of projects for the Municipal Designated Highway Five-Year (2022- 2026) Program as outlined in memorandum from the Engineering & Works Department dated June 17, 2021 and only proceed if funding is available.

REQUEST TO CONSIDER EXEMPTION TO NOISE BY-LAW

That Riverview Town Council grant an exemption to the Noise By-Law 700-31, a By-Law relating to the Prevention of Excessive Noise in the Town of Riverview, to Thrive Properties in order to undertake construction activities prior to 7:00 a.m. and beyond 10:00 p.m. on an as-needed basis during the months between May - October, 2021. The main purpose of the exemption would be to accommodate the concrete work on site - including construction of the underground parking structure as well as the concrete topping of residential floors above.

SUMMER HOURS - COUNCIL MEETINGS

That Riverview Town Council employ summer hours by eliminating the Committee of the Whole meeting held the second meeting of the month for July and August and that the scheduled time for the Regular Council meeting for July and August begin at 4 p.m.
