  • By-Law 700-11, a By-Law Relating to the Regulation of Traffic, Parking & the Use of Streets in the Town of Riverview                                                                   

Other Business

Council made a motion to endorse the updated 10 year general capital and utility budget plans as presented on September 21, 2020 and direct staff to use it to guide the development of the annual general capital and operating budgets. Staff is further directed to complete the additional analysis outlined in the ten year plan document and address those issues with Council in the 2021 Update of the Ten Year Plan.

Council made a motion to direct staff to complete a review of the Town’s communication program and to report back to Council in regard to the operational and budget implications of implementing any proposed improvements.

Council made a motion to deny the Community Investment application submitted by the Unicorn Children's Centre.

Council made a motion to approve the Alternative Procurement Request and award the Animal Control services contract to the Greater Moncton SPCA in the amount of $44,427.42 in year one; $49,705.44 in year two; $54,983.04 in year three; $60,260.76 in year four and $65,538.48 in year five.

Council made a motion to endorse the proposed budget parameters for the preliminary 2021 Capital and Operating budgets for the General and Utility Funds, including the proposed assumptions and parameters for revenue and expenses.
