Holiday waste schedule and Christmas tree collection

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) Residents whose regular curbside waste collection is on Monday will want to take note of this year’s schedule change during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday period.

There will be no collection on either Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. As a result, Monday’s curbside pick-up on the statutory holidays will be rescheduled for the following Saturday.

  • Collection on Monday, Dec. 25 moves to Saturday, Dec. 30
  • Collection on Monday, Jan. 1 moves to Saturday, Jan. 6

Eco 360’s 2018 waste collection calendar has been mailed to all Riverview households. If you haven’t received yours yet and would like a print copy, stop by town hall to pick one up weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You can also download the Eco360 mobile app for weekly reminders and an easy-to-use sorting tool.

Christmas tree collection

After the holidays, Riverview residents are welcome to leave natural Christmas trees at the curbside for collection on their regular pick-up days during the week of January 8-12. Please remove all tinsel and ornaments from the tree before disposal.

You can also bring Christmas trees to the Eco360 solid waste facility on Berry Mills Road in Moncton between December 28 and January 13.
