Kits available now for residents to join the 2022 Snow Sculpture Challenge

Grab your shovels, fill your buckets, and get ready to sculpt between February 4-7! The Town of Riverview is pleased to announce an expanded version of the 2022 Snow Sculpture Challenge as part of this year’s Riverview Winter Carnival.

Residents who plan to enter the contest can register for a snow sculpture kit that will be delivered to their home. Each kit contains one snow tamper and one 5-gallon bucket. Quantities are limited and there are instructions on our website for how to sculpt using tools you may already have at home. Please visit www.townofriverview.ca/snowchallenge to join the contest and be featured on the community map.

Tour the town using the map to vote for your favourite sculpture from February 7-13!

There are dozens of prizes to be won including (5) Fundy National Park getaways with a two-night stay in a heated yurt, a family season pass to the park, and a $30 gas card.

This challenge is proudly sponsored by The Elmwood Group - Home Hardware and inspired by the works of Canadian community snow sculptor, Matt Morris. Thank you to the Codiac Woodworkers Guild for building the snow tampers and to the 2021 Junior Leaders and YOUth Drop-In Participants for painting them!
