Mandatory Mask order introduced in New Brunswick

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) – Premier Blaine Higgs and Dr. Jennifer Russell, Chief Medical Officer of Health for New Brunswick, announced today, October 8, that masks will be mandatory in most indoor public places starting midnight tonight.

Members of the public are therefore required to wear a face covering in municipally owned and operated buildings. Face coverings must be worn at all times when in the building.

Municipally owned and operated facilities include:

  • Town Hall
  • Operations Centre
  • Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Centre
  • Fire Station
  • Byron Dobson Memorial Arena
  • Parks, Recreation and Community Relations Office
  • Skate Park / Riverview Youth Centre
  • Coverdale Centre
  • Bridgedale Community Centre
  • Riverview Community Hall
  • Fundy Chocolate Station
