Residents urged to remove portable structures to help snow operations

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) - The Town of Riverview is calling on residents to help ensure the Town’s snow removal operations run safely and efficiently this winter.

To avoid damage and assist in street clearing, residents are urged to remove portable basketball hoops, hockey goals, skateboard ramps and other structures from town right of way.

This will enable plows and salt trucks to reach the curb and eliminate damage to the truck or portable structure. Residents are reminded that the Town is not responsible for damage to objects left on town property during snow operations.

Snow removal in inclement weather is challenging enough on a “clear” road and these obstacles only increase the difficulty for crews to plow snow.
