Town response to New Brunswick's re-opening plan

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) - The Town of Riverview is aware of the new directions relating to the COVID-19 restrictions following this afternoon’s Provincial update.

Please be advised that the Town will need time to determine how and if we can comply with all the public health requirements in the transition to the next phase of New Brunswick’s re-opening plan.

We understand that everyone is keen to get back to some form of normality. However, we will only re-open municipal facilities when we are able to comply with these regulations.

As previously communicated, Town sports fields remain closed and traditionally open in June. Notification of these facilities opening will occur through our normal channels.

Town-managed Trails and Mill Creek Nature Park are open for the public to enjoy. Residents must continue to follow physical distancing guidelines.

We thank residents for their patience and cooperation during this unprecedented time.

Updates on the reopening of Town facilities will be communicated as soon as possible both on social media and the COVID-19 webpage
