Update on water distribution system

RIVERVIEW (N.B.) – The Town of Riverview would like to thank residents for their cooperation in reducing non-essential water consumption over the past few days.

We have observed positive progress in the water distribution system over the last 48 hours. Overall consumption levels are down to more sustainable levels and we have seen improved water pressure in all areas of Town.

Our intent of asking residents to reduce consumption was to allow the system to stabilize while Public Works and Engineering staff investigate for any other issues within the system.

We will continue to monitor the pressures and consumption over the weekend to ensure the system is stable.

For this reason, the current ban on non-essential water usage will remain in place over the weekend and will be reviewed at the beginning of next week.

Once again, we would like to thank residents for their help with this – your efforts really are appreciated.
