Fireworks

Fireworks are a fun way to bring joy to special events and holidays. However, when ignited by people not properly trained in their use, fireworks can be very dangerous. Fireworks cause thousands of burns and eye injuries each year.

Riverview By-Law 700-05-1 (Health, Safety and Welfare) prohibits the discharge of fireworks within the Town limits without a permit authorized by the Fire Chief of Riverview Fire & Rescue.
