Grilling Safety
Outdoor grilling is one of the most popular ways to cook. But a grill can get very hot, making it both a potential fire hazard and a source of burn injuries.
Follow these simple tips and you will be on the way to safe barbecuing:
- Propane and charcoal BBQ grills must be used only outdoors, and away from anything combustible.
- Keep your grill clean by removing grease and fat buildup from the grills and in the trays below the grill.
- Never leave your lit grill unattended.
- Check your propane barbecue hoses for leaks with soapy water.
