The Town of Riverview is actively monitoring the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Like other municipalities, we are following the advice and recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health for New Brunswick.

During this time, the Town remains committed to delivering critical and essential municipal services to the public. Whilst ensuring we can continue to serve our residents, it is also our responsibility to ensure we act in a way that reduces the spread of COVID-19.

Residents are reminded that they should follow information from the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health (Public Health) for the most up to date and accurate information. You can get additional information here.

*The Albert County Food Bank will remain open for those using the service with protocols in place to protect volunteers and the public. Please direct all enquiries regarding the Food Bank to 506-386-7824.

What essential municipal services continue to operate?

  • Road clearing
  • Waste collection
  • Public communications:
    • Town Hall: 506-387-2020 (Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.)
    • Public Works Dispatch: 506-387-2030 (Mon-Fri, 8 a.m-4:30 p.m.)
    • Emergency After Hours: 506-387-2025 to leave a message and the on-call foreman will return your call promptly.

Work from home protocols for employees working in essential and support services will also be implemented where applicable.

Payments and Permits

The payment and permit desks are closed. However, residents can pay their bills online here, and submit permit applications here, Staff are also available to process applications by electronic submission and can be contacted by phone at: 506-382-5386.
