Riverview Town Hall
At Large

Tammy Rampersaud is currently serving her first term as a Councillor at Large in Riverview. She has been serving residents of Riverview since being first elected in May 2016. Her interest in municipal politics lies in her desire to give back to the community and work to ensure its long-term success. To this role, she brings a professional background in Human Resources management, as well as many years as a dedicated community volunteer.

Tammy is the founder of 100 Kids Who Care Riverview, and is past-president of the Riverview Arts Centre, the Frank L. Bowser Home and School Association and the Riverview Band Parents Association. For her community service, she has received the 2012 Riverview Volunteer Award as well as the 40th Anniversary - Jim DeWolf Community Spirit Award in 2013.

Tammy’s passion for the arts and for the Town’s young people is reflected in her work on Council. She strongly advocates for infrastructure planning, services and policies that reflect Riverview’s family-friendly quality of life.

When she is not working on behalf of residents, Tammy enjoys a busy family life with her husband Warren, their three children, Ashna, Tristan and Ethan, and their Labradoodle Marlowe. One of Tammy’s favourite activities is to enjoy Riverview’s scenic trails and participate in community festival and events.
