Skatepark & Youth Centre Attendant
The Town of Riverview Skatepark/Youth Centre is currently seeking applicants for the position of Skatepark and Youth Centre Attendant. The ideal candidate has experience supervising youth; youth centered leadership and motivation in addition to planning and facilitating youth activities and events. This position requires availability for afternoon, evening and weekend shifts for approximately 30-37 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours.

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of one year post-secondary studies in recreation/leisure studies, social science, youth services or equivalent work experience.
- Proven leadership and supervision of youth; experience planning and facilitating youth activities and events.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet research.
- Valid Workplace Standard First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and New Brunswick Driver’s Abstract, meeting Town’s expectations.
- Ability to effectively work with children and youth of varying ages and members of the public.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sectors Screening, meeting Town’s expectations.
- Experience, knowledge and interest in skateboarding, an asset.
