Student Employment - Outdoor Maintenance
The Town of Riverview is seeking candidates for the summer student positions of Outdoor Maintenance with the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Relations from May 1st to August 25th, 2023.
The selected candidate will assist with landscaping within the Town jurisdiction including cutting grass, preparing flower beds, planting flowers, weeding and other gardening duties. The incumbent will also assist with the seasonal preparation and general maintenance of sports fields including patching and other repairs, painting lines, removal of refuse, patching and other repairs.
Job Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and/or returning in the fall.
- Proof of valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Ability to safely operate various maintenance tools, equipment and machinery.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Current NB Driver’s Abstract meeting Town’s expectations.
- Current Criminal Record Check, meeting Town’s standards.
This is a full-time summer position with a rate of pay of $14.25 for 40 hours per week.
