2023 Capital Projects Underway

The Town of Riverview is pleased to highlight some of the 2023 Capital projects that are well underway for this year's construction season from May to October. There are many streets and other infrastructure that will receive much needed care and remodeling this summer, including;

Hillsborough Road Water Main Renewal (Old Coach to Harmony) - Watermain, trench restoration.
Windsor Street Reconstruction - Street reconstruction, watermain, sewers.
Elmore Street Reconstruction - Street reconstruction, watermain, sewers.
Montgomery (Coverdale to Fairfax) - Asphalt Seal
Bradford and Fairfax (Cleveland to Montgomery) - Asphalt Seal
Lakeside - Surface mill, asphalt overlay, some curb replacement.
Pinder - Surface mill, asphalt overlay, some curb replacement.
Inwood Street Reconstruction - Street reconstruction, watermain, sewers.
Yale Avenue Water Main Renewal - Watermain, some sanitary, trench restoration.
Darwin Street Reconstruction - Street reconstruction, watermain, sewers.
Birkdale Street Reconstruction - Street reconstruction, watermain, sewers.
Henderson - Replace underground street light wires.
Pembroke - Replace underground street light wires.

Residents are urged to take care and slow down in construction areas to ensure their safety as well as the safety of pedestrians and construction crews. Motorists are advised to plan ahead while travelling over the summer and early fall months as these projects may cause delays and detours to usual routes.
