Bricklin among keynote speakers at Riverview’s Sustaina-Palooza

(RIVERVIEW, NB) – American automotive entrepreneur Malcolm Bricklin will be among the keynote speakers at the Town of Riverview’s sustainability conference, Sustaina-Palooza, set for April 28-30, brought to you by The Varanda Network.

“We’re thrilled to have Mr. Bricklin among our outstanding array of speakers at this year’s virtual event,” says Sustaina-Palooza organizer Tahlia Ferlatte, Riverview’s Economic Development Officer.

Bricklin is perhaps best known in this province as the brains behind the Bricklin SV-1, a luxury sports car manufactured in the 1970s in New Brunswick. The businessman has remained in the car business and is now CEO of Visionary Vehicles, which is aiming to produce a three-wheel, two passenger electric car that looks like a luxury vehicle.

The three-day annual Sustaina-Palooza conference brings together government, industry, academia, and youth to exchange ideas, explore new horizons, and discuss emerging trends in environmental, social, corporate and economic sustainability.

Among the innovative leaders in the sustainability sector will be Denmark’s Consul General and Trade Commissioner Jeppe Fredslund and Finland’s Trade Commissioner Seppo Rantala.
