Brushing Up – Riverbark Grooming Provides Pawsitive Experiences in Riverview

Sylvie Hebert had been a dental hygienist for 20 years when she decided it was time for a change. Following a new passion, Sylvie now caters to canine companions in Riverview at Riverbark Grooming on Coverdale Road.

“As a pet parent myself, I understand the love and compassion we share for our furry family members,” says Sylvie. “I am passionate about providing excellent grooming services for your pets and am dedicated to ensuring that they look and feel their best and in full safety. I take pride in my work and am committed to making sure that your pet receives the best care possible. I believe that every pet is unique and deserves individualized attention.”

It wasn’t just a passion for pups that brought Sylvie out of her career to start her own business. After living in Ottawa for eight years she missed the heartful charm of the east coast.

“Riverview has such an amazing sense of community and unity. People are always ready and willing to help others, and all the businesses have great collaboration and support for one another,” says Sylvie.

An engaged and supportive community makes all the difference for small businesses. Knowing your pet’s groomer well is a luxury that Riverview residents can rely on, and Sylvie’s dedication to strong communication — in addition to a high level of professionalism and safety — builds trust with her clients.

“My grooming services are tailored to the specific needs of your pet, and I am committed to building a relationship with my clients and their owners. I am happy to address any questions or concerns you may have all while having fun with your pet!” she says.

The Maritimes have a reputation for contagious friendliness. This sentiment is felt in Riverview, where the community provides a sense of belonging and support for all residents. This is what drew Sylvie to move back to the east coast and open her business in Riverview, and it comes as no surprise that the  community is happy to celebrate her new business opening alongside her.

She’s looking forward to enjoying Light Up Riverview with her family later this month. Walking along the riverfront is a joy shared by many throughout the holiday season, two and four legged friends alike!

Be sure to stop by Riverbark Grooming at 567 (Unit 16) Coverdale Road on Saturday, November 18, at 2 p.m. where Sylvie will be celebrating the grand opening of her business! There will be cupcakes and beverages, and the first 10 customers will get a coupon for a free grooming appointment.
