- Council recommended to award the following grants:
- MAGMA in the amount of $5,000
- Atlantic Nationals Car Show in the amount of $2,000
- NB Refugee Clinic in the amount of $4,000
- Moncton Women's Basketball League in the amount of $500
- Volunteer Centre of Southeastern NB in the amount of $500
- Sarah Hale (Miss Teen Canada Pageant) in the amount of $100
- Mayor LeBlanc appointed Jessica Dunphy, Brenda Richard, and Melannie Eldridge to the Art Procurement Committee.
AWARD OF TENDER
- Council awarded Tender 24-01 for Asphalt Concrete Patching (Utility & General) – Various Streets to MacDonald Paving and Construction, a division of Miller Paving Limited, in the amount of $597,800 + HST, and that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to sign all related documentation.
ANDREW BLACK, PRESIDENT OF UNION OF MUNICIPALITIES OF NB
- Council passed a motion to have the Town of Riverview submit a letter supporting the Union of Municipalities of New Brunswick to the province regarding concerns over the NB property tax system.
