Winter Carnival opening ceremony postponed to Feb. 8

With significant snow and freezing rain forecast, Winter Carnival Ignite has been postponed to Saturday, February 8 at 7 p.m.

Furthermore, to allow time for maintenance crews to clean up from the storm and prepare the site at Winter Wonderland Park, the Saturday Winter Wonderland event will begin at 2:30 p.m. and end at 5 p.m. Please note that there will be NO SLIDING permitted on the hill on Saturday to allow the crews to set up the fireworks.
