Recommendations from Committee of the Whole
Crosswalk Treatment Selection Guideline
Council approved the recommendation to accept the new Crosswalk Treatment Selection Guidelines as outlined at the Committee of the Whole Meeting of November 23, 2020.
Sponsorship Grant
Council approved the recommendation to award a sponsorship grant in the amount of $1,000 to the Greater Moncton Lebanese Association.
Tenders
Council approved the recommendation to take advantage of the Alternative Procurement Approval Purchasing option to purchase two (2) new CAT 938M Loaders from Toromont in the amount of $327,800 plus HST.
Approval Service Level Agreement: 3+
Council approved the recommendation to authorize the extension of the current terms and budget related to the Service Level Agreement with 3+ for 2021 and that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to sign all related documents.
Other Business
Resolutions:
a.1 - Council authorized the transfer of $2,500,000 from the 2020 General Operating Fund to the General Capital Reserve Fund.
a.2 - Council authorized of $185,000 from the 2020 General Operating Fund to the General Operating Reserve Fund.
a.3 - Council authorized the transfer of $220,000 from the 2020 Utility Operating Fund to the Utility Capital Reserve Fund.
Appointment – Riverview Library Board
Mayor Ann Seamans appointed Kate Hanson as Chairperson of the Riverview Library Board, and reappointed Board Officers Wendi Publicover and Anna Sutherland.
Cancellation of Committee of the Whole
Council voted to cancel the Committee of the Whole meeting of December 28, 2020.
