Programs are organized by age. Simply choose the age group you’re interested in, and you’ll see every available program for that group.

Campfire Circles

A free family-oriented program that allows folks to enjoy a variety of activities near a cozy campfire. Come enjoy snacks, good company, and incredible views with us!

Card Party

Bring a mug, change of shoes and some friends to enjoy the afternoon Card Parties.

Tables and chairs will be set up when you arrive, so come on in and get started! Coffee and tea is provided, so don't forget your mug. You're welcome to bring board games too if preferred.

Carriage Rides

Take a trip back in time in a uniquely restored horse drawn carriage with your partner, friends, family or neighbours! Enjoy the sights and sounds of the serene Riverfront Trail marshlands, while taking in the breath-taking views of the city skyline.

Community Drop-In

Join the weekly Community Drop-In for an opportunity to meet new people and possibly learn a new skill. This is a volunteer operated program, for adults of all ages; even new parents with little ones stop by!

The location of this Drop-In may change seasonally as the group decides. Please the Parks and Recreation Office at 506-387-2024 for details.

Equipment Loan

During the summer months, Riverview residents can register for the free Equipment Loan program and borrow a variety of fun games for one week at a time.

Geocaching Challenge- Winter Carnival

Our community volunteers are pleased to share a newer outdoor geocaching activity that we hope will connect you and your family to Riverview's amazing outdoor green spaces during Winter Carnival! They have created a unique “Adventure Lab” called “Riverview Outdoor Adventures" that will teach you more about the community's parks, trails and open green spaces. Junior Leadership

Want to meet new people, go on cool trips, gain valuable work experience, and have an amazing summer with the Town of Riverview?

Riverview's Junior Leadership Program is a volunteer experience for youth between the ages of 13 and 15, running from June until the end of August. It offers leadership experience to 20 Riverview youth every summer.

Parks for All

This weekly program allows people with mobility challenges to explore the beauty of our very own Mill Creek Nature Park. Designed for Older Adults, this program is open to folks of all-ages. Hop on-board and be driven around the park for a fun, informative adventure!

Tech Tuesday

If you're an Older Adult needing assistance with technology, then book a Tech Tuesday appointment!

Walking

Join the friendly, chatty bunch of Wednesday Walkers every Wednesday afternoon for an hour-long walk. With Walk Leaders present, this stroll is designed for any level of walking. All ages and abilities are welcome and go at your own pace!

YOUth Drop-In

Located at the Riverview Community Hall (145A Lakeside Drive), The Riverview Parks & Rec YOUth Drop in Program provides Riverview youth with a safe and engaging space to be active and meet new people! Guests must be between the ages of 12-17. Everyone has a chance to shape the events and activities that happen at the centre. This is a space shaped by YOUth, and for YOUth!
