The force includes a Chief, two Deputy Chiefs, four Captain/Paramedics, 16 Firefighters/Paramedics and an Administrative Assistant, supported by 28 volunteer firefighters. For the safety of our residents, the Fire & Rescue Department offers fire prevention guides and public safety reminders throughout the year.

Riverview follows the provincial burn restrictions. Residents are reminded to consult the Department of Natural Resources fire ban map before burning. Daily updates are provided for the province throughout outdoor fire season from spring to fall.
