Riverview honours outstanding community volunteers
On Thursday, the Town of Riverview celebrated National Volunteer Week with a dinner reception honouring our community’s volunteers.
“Riverview is a vibrant and welcoming home to so many people thanks to the full spectrum of services and programming supported by volunteers in our community. This is a special night to say thank you to Riverview’s volunteers for all they do throughout the year,” said Mayor Ann Seamans.
Every spring, Town of Riverview invites local community groups and clubs to recognize an outstanding volunteer at the annual awards ceremony hosted at the Coverdale Centre.
Mayor Seamans presented appreciation certificates to the following individuals for their service to a community organization:

- Nicole Doucett for Codiac Regional RCMP
- Kelly MacKinnon for Riverview Soccer Association
- Elizabeth Reynolds for Riverview Boys and Girls Club

- Janice Cooke for Girl Guides of Canada
- Bernice Russell for Riverview Seniors Club
