Presentations and Delegations

  • Judy Cyr presented as the RCMP Community Program Officer on the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics which will be held at the Fundy Chocolate River Station on November 10, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.

Tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFP)

  • None presented.

Recommendations 

  • Committee of the Whole recommends to support the Extraordinary Care fundraiser for the Moncton Hospital capital campaign in the amount of $5000 per year for a period of five years starting 2020 depending on budget availability.

Motions Arising from Special Council Meeting

  • Council made a motion to approve the purchase price of $50,000 for 558 square metres located at the corner of 700 Pinewood Road to allow for a future roundabout at the corner of Pine Glen Road and Pinewood Road.
  • Council made a resolution to endorse a funding application to invest in recreation infrastructure under the New Building Canada Small Communities Fund.

Next Meeting 

The next Regular Council Meeting will be preceded by two Public Hearings starting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11. The first Public Hearing is for local improvement projects planned in 2019 and the second is for the rezoning application by Clayton Developments.
