Petitions, Presentations & Delegations
- Councillor Johnson gave a presentation on the work that the 50th Anniversary Committee has put together in advance of budget deliberations. This included community relations options (budget depending) and a new visual identity for the year's celebrations.
- Peter Clarkson spoke on behalf of the Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue to share what they have been working on this year as a volunteer-driven organization. They are hoping to bring even more lifesaving programs and training to the area in 2023.

Building and Planning
Reports were shared for building, development, and activity for September 2022.
Codiac RCMP
Activity snapshots and occurrence statistics reports were shared for September 2022.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS
All departments provided monthly reports to Council. They can be found in detail here.
- Council passed a recommendation to include a workout facility in the schematic design phase of the future Riverview Recreation Complex.
- A business engagement update was provided to Council, outlining key initiatives undertaken by the Community Engagement Worker - Business since this new position was filled in April of 2022. Strategic objectives were shared to further enhance support, promotion and communication with the Riverview business community.
OTHER BUSINESS
- Grant Report - Council passed a recommendation to award a grant to Christmas Daddies in the amount of $250.
- Committee Appointments - Mayor Andrew J. LeBlanc appointed Emily Coté and Vanessa Thompson to the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Next meeting
Council will hold Budget Deliberations on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All budget meetings are open to the public and held in Council Chambers at Riverview Town Hall - 30 Honour House Court.
