Garbage Collection Reminder

Following recent inquiries concerning waste collection, the Town of Riverview reminds its residents that waste MUST be at the curb before 6 a.m. on the day of collection, but not before 6 p.m. on the night before collection.

In addition, due to the high snowbanks, we encourage homeowners to place bags/bins to the right side of their driveway and up to 5 feet away from the end. This will help drivers to see your bags and prevent them from being buried by plow operators. DO NOT place garbage on top of snow banks as they will not be collected. Placing your waste in a covered receptacle will also increase visibility and prevent damage to the bags.
