Giant Tiger Set to Open New Location in Riverview

Giant Tiger Stores Limited, a Canadian discount store with over 200 locations across the country, will be calling Riverview, New Brunswick, home following an official ribbon cutting on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Riverview Shopping Mall located at 720 Coverdale Road.

This week’s grand opening is one of many to hit the Town of Riverview in the last week. Tech Mahindra, a leading company in business process services headquartered in Mumbai, India, also chose the Riverview shopping mall for their newest business services centre, which was announced on Wednesday of this week.

Giant Tiger’s third storefront to grace the Greater Moncton Area will be 22,000 square foot in size and will bring with it notable job creation for the Town. The grand opening will consist of speeches from elected officials and store representatives beginning at 7:30 a.m., as well as a fun-filled day of free activities, giveaways, face painting, a charity barbecue and product sampling.

Following the event Scott Munro, store manager, will be making a charitable donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Riverview on behalf of the mega retailer, as well as donating all proceeds from the community barbecue.

The Town wishes to invite the greater public to join them in welcoming Giant Tiger to the neighbourhood.
